Beady eyes

Now that Benjamin just a few weeks older he can sit in his bouncy chair and watch me do things around the house. I often see his beady eyes following me around. Here some pictures.

More family photos

Heres pictures of our 'little' family and also one of everyone who was around for our family get together this weekend.

4 generations

(Great) Grandmas came down from Yorkshire this weekend and so we took these four generational photos from both sides of my family. Grandmas passed on lots of pearls of wisdom about looking after babies.

England fan

A big family get together today meant that all the men of the family could watch the England v Equador match together. Although Ben wore his England shirt he did in fact sleep through the whole game!

Meeting Em and Sam

Down from Liverpool for a visit - it was great to see them and they were naturals with Ben!

Afro-baby

My friend from Nigeria gave me these sheets and taught me how to carry Benjamin on my back. It is great during the day when he wants to be close to me and means that I can get on and do things - like sorting out his ever expanding wardrobe!!

As it has been such a lovely weekend, we took Benjamin to Trosley Country Park which is within walking distance of the house we hope to buy. Here is picture of Benjamin in one of his favourite places - on his Papa's shoulder!

Sunrises

Things going well. We are just loving spending time with him and together as a family. Today we took him out for a little walk in the country and have been doing things like bathing him and massaging him as his skin is quite dry. Lots of precious memories being created - even at 4am in the morning. I have seen lots of sunrises and I never realised how beautiful and peaceful that time of day can be. I took these photos after Benjamin had woken me up very early one morning seeming to be desparate to be fed and then fallen back to sleep after a few sips!!
