Mendez Family

Yep after a wonderful two weeks of sunshine it has been so cold and rainy that we got out Ben's winter hats this week. We had been so enjoying the sunshine as you can see from the previous post. But I guess we are not so unlucky as we have two weeks of Guatemala sunshine guaranteed in a months time. We are busy plotting and planning and having vacinations and buying mosquito nets and sun hats etc etc. Aside from Ben having a lot of fun we have also celebrated our 5 year anniversary. It was last weekend but it is this weekend that we are leaving him overnight for the first time with my parents in order to have a much aniticipated night away without either of us having to wake up during the night or early in the morning. And to be able to start and finish a conversation. Now Ben has learnt how to say Mama and Papa then he is using them constantly to get our attention so that we can watch what he is doing.
