More smiles and bath time

Moving House

It has all happened very quickly but we are moving house next week! It is to a village nearby and we already have some friends there. This will mean that Benjamin can have his own nursery and we will finally have a place of our own! Posted by Picasa

Becoming a Brit

This photo is a bit overdue as Omar officially became a British National on 19th April. Here he is beneath the Union Jack in his citizenship ceremony Posted by Picasa

Bathtime Buddy

We went to visit Charlie, Matthew and their son Jack who is 6 months older than Benjamin. We had a great time playing in the bath and Ben loved being around his big friend and seeing all the fun things he can do. Jack loves bouncing around in his bouncer and he has learnt how to wave and he has all kinds of cool toys. We can't wait until Benjamin is that big too!

More visitors

Sam, Ruth and Laura came to visit us. Having four tiny brothers (and one bigger one too) Sam knows all about baby boys so she gave Benjamin his lunch. It was great to all be together again and to hear all about Laura's wedding which took place the same day I went into labour with Benjamin.

Then one of my oldest friends, Catherine, got in touch out of the blue after six years. We've known each other since we were eight years old. Found out she is living in Kent too so she came to see us. It was wonderful to see her and obviously we had a lot of catching up to do as we were students when we last met.

Ladies Man

Here's Benjamin with his two little friends, Freya and Charlotte. Doesn't look too impressed being in the middle of two crying girls but!

First Smiles

Ben has just started smiling and the biggest smiles are reserved for when his Daddy gets home from work!

Kathy's visit

Had a lovely time today with friend Kathy who is on leave from her job in India. Benjamin was very comfortable having a long nap in her arms!

Old Macdonald

Ben has been bought an Old Macdonald cot mobile which he has been enjoying today. Not sure how long Mummy will be enjoying listening to 'Old Macdonald Has a Farm' repeats!
