Mendez Family

My cousins came to visit from Worcester and they loved Ben and he loved them. They really enjoyed looking after him, feeding him, bathing him etc.

We went to visit Ruth, Tim and their beautiful daughter Raya. She seemed so tiny and delicate and I couldn't ever remember Ben being that small although Ruth reminded me that only nine months ago he was even smaller. I'm sure Ben loved meeting his future wife even though in one photo he appears to be slyly pulling her hair. He was probably jealous as she has more than him! She is a really happy contented baby and slept nearly all the time we were there, just waking up for a photo shoot before we left.

Out came the harmonica and guitar and Ben was enjoying being entertained by Dick and Gladys
 

Ben's second trip to Wales! This time Omar was able to come too and it was our first holiday as a family and also the first for a long time. We had a wonderful week staying with our friends near Cardigan. Some sunny days, some rainy but we loved every minute of it.


 

I was really happy when we got another day of snow as I had been so busy we couldn't take Ben out during the last snowfall. But this one was even heavier and more beautiful. Vigo was transformed into the land of Narnia. Omar couldn't get his van out of our road so that morning we went for a walk in the woods.
