Although it was pretty chilly on the beach we had a great walk along the sands and then onto the supermarket to stock up on a few of the treats France is famous for! Then sadly at the end of a superb day it was time to get back on the ferry at Calais - you can just make out the sign behind Ben's head in the distance.

Enjoying French cuisine

We went to a brilliant seafood restaurant in Calais. Look at the goldfish on the tables! Ben was brilliant, sitting through and enjoying all 5 courses and after the meal another diner even came over and told us what a well behaved baby we had. He was busy charming all the garcons! Not too keen on baguette though!

Bike rides

We treated ourselves to some cycle helmets with my first pay pack and have taken Ben for some lovely rides. Our plan is to go cycling all over Kent (well the flat bits) at weekends this summer as we are not having a summer holiday.

Meeting up with the Yogababes

Even though I (Kate) have been back at work for a few weeks now, part time, we still find time to get together with our friends. These are the babies whose mums I was pregnant with during our yoga classes, we all took our babies to baby yoga and now, unbelieveable as it feels, some of them are now having their first birthdays. And Ben's is coming up in a months time!!

Crawling

Now Ben is getting pretty fast at crawling and is loving exploring all the different corners of the house.

Back again

Sorry we haven't updated for a while. But as they say... "no news is good news". Have been up to lots of fun things in the last month. These photos were taken at he playpark in Vigo. It only takes a few minutes to walk there and it is usually almost empty during school hours.
